Road traffic accidents abroad
A large number of Britons drive abroad every year, whether it be their own car or car hire.

If you are injured as a passenger by someone resident in the UK it might be possible to bring the claim in the British Courts. However, the vast majority of foreign road traffic accidents may well have to be brought within the country where they occurred. The laws are different in each country.
