A few simple steps will ensure you are not injured whilst working abroad.

Health & Safety for people working abroad
It has been said that every five seconds a worker is involved in a work-related accident. It is considered that often people working abroad, particularly seasonal work, do not enjoy the same health and safety protection as employees in the UK. Also, sometimes workers abroad can sometimes take a more laid back attitude towards health and safety. It is easy to forget that in a sunnier, more relaxed environment, there are still dangers out there.
If you intend to work abroad, ensure that you arrange insurance cover that actually accommodates this. Many travel insurance policies are only really designed for holidays and not employment. When working abroad, do not be pressurized into doing anything that you would not do back in the UK.
A few simple steps will allow you to avoid being one of those workers who every 5 seconds is injured!
