Q. When should you apply?
A. 3 months prior to the placement would be advisable this will allow our Human Resources department enough time to organise a supervisor for the duration of you placement. We understand that your timescales may be shorter and will accept applications at shorter notice.
Q. How should you apply?
A. Send a CV and covering letter highlighting your available dates, explaining your relevant skills experience and preferred areas of work you would like experience in.
Q. What is the interview process?
A. There is no interview process, candidates are selected on a first come first serve basis and decisions to take on students is depended on supervisors being available at that time.
Q. What experience will you get?
A. During the placement, you will be assigned to a supervisor who will act as your mentor. You will have the opportunity to assist lawyers in handling work. You will gain "a real life" experience of law in practice. For example, you may be required to:
- Attend trials and meetings
- Research particular areas of law
Q. What is the dress code?
A. The firm's formal dress code is smart business attire.
