Learning & development

Russell Jones & Walker views the development of its people as an important investment to ensure the capability and effectiveness of the firm. The most important part of the development process is learning on the job, supplemented where necessary by more formal education and training programmes.

All new recruits to the firm undertake an induction programme to help them understand the firm and their role

Development needs are identified through the firm’s appraisal process.  The firm aims to provide comprehensive internal training to fee earners and support staff in order to ensure that they are fully up to date with developments in their field. Additionally, the firm provides access to good quality, cost effective external courses where necessary.

It is against the firm’s policy to discriminate directly or indirectly in the selection of candidates for training course or other opportunities for training and development.
