Breast Cancer Patient receives compensation following negligent breast cancer surgery.

Clinical Negligence Solicitors, Russell Jones and Walker, acted on behalf of a lady who underwent a 'Cleavage Sparing Mastectomy' by surgeon Mr Ian Paterson in Birmingham a number of years ago. The surgery is usually carried out to strict NHS guidelines. However, in our client's case, the surgeon left behind excess tissue within the breast. Fortunately for our client she read an article about the issue in the local press and was able to have surgery to remove the excess breast tissue.

Vehicle wing-mirror clips cyclist resulting in personal injury cycling claim

Our client was cycling along the side of the road when a vehicle drove too close, causing him to be hit by the wing mirror of the vehicle. This knocked him off the bicycle and caused injury loss and damages to the sum of £2,953.

Client receives £3,000 compensation claim after injury caused by pothole while cycling

RJW represented a cyclist who was on her way home when she hit a pothole with her front tyre, causing her to crash into a metal barrier at the side of the road. The cycling accident caused damage to her bike and bruising to the left upper arm and left thigh as well as a break to her right thumb. At the time of the accident she did not seek medical assistance but instead visited her GP at a later date who subsequently sent her to St George's Hospital due to the pain she was suffering with her cycling injuries.
