All too often these problems could have been prevented with minimal cost or effort had proper regard been given to issues of health and safety.

Changes to legislation in recent years have resulted in an extensive body of statute and regulations dealing with health and safety in the workplace which apply to union members. We are able to advise on health and safety issues as well as bringing claims for officers through the courts and employment tribunals where health and safety legislation has been breached.
