Expertise
Louise is the Head of Public Affairs at Russell Jones & Walker. Her aim is to promote Russell Jones & Walker's public affairs profile within the profession and in the wider political, consumer and business worlds for the benefit of clients. She is responsible for managing The Law Report podcasts and RJW’s consumer-facing website Your Legal Rights.
Experience
Louise has over ten years political, trade union and consumer experience. She joined RJW from Which?, where she focused on ensuring the consumer interest was at the heart of legal services reforms, including the Compensation Act, the Legal Services Bill and the Carter review. She also ran their campaign to reform the estate agency market, developed the organisation’s public affairs strategy and was director of the choice project, which put the consumer back at the heart of the choice agenda.
Before joining Which? Louise was the international development manager at Investors in People UK and a policy officer at the New Opportunities Fund. She has also worked for the Parliamentary Labour Party and the FDA trade union.
Career
Louise joined Russell Jones & Walker in 2007. She studied history at Cambridge University. Louise's hobbies include photography, films and scuba diving.
