Cases of note include Pacific Direct Ltd v Riaz (ET - unfair dismissal - causation of loss); Sheehan v London Borough of Camden (ET - unfair dismissal) and Whittle v Parity Training Ltd (EAT - unfair dismissal - obligation to offer lower-paid alternative employment to senior employee).

Education

After taking her law degree at King's College, London and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London, she completed articles at legal aid firm Darryl Ingram and Co qualifying in 1999.

Prior to moving to Russell Jones & Walker in 2003, she worked in niche employment practice Ashby Cohen Solicitors Ltd where she specialised in the litigation of employee claims in the Employment Tribunal.

Her current practice includes both contentious and non-contentious work for private and union clients. She has particular experience in the handling of unfair dismissal and disability discrimination claims brought by senior employees in the Employment Tribunal and has negotiated a 6 figure settlement for one such client.
