Rachel has worked in the Cardiff Employment Department for Russell Jones & Walker since August 2002.
Experience
She acts for both institutional and private clients in all areas of employment law, but has particular interest in pension and discrimination work.
Education
Rachel studied law and sociology at Cardiff University, graduating in 1997 with first class honours. Rachel then undertook the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School in which she was awarded a prize for business law. Rachel trained with Palser Grossman in Cardiff from September 1998 to September 2000 and remained with the firm on qualification until moving to join Russell Jones & Walker.
Publications
The 2006/7 edition of the Chambers legal directory identifies the Cardiff employment department as the best claimant employment law department in Wales. It says: “The best in the region by a mile, no one comes near Russell Jones & Walker for claimant work.” It describes the department's "impressive success rates with cases concerning disability, race and equal pay".
