Expertise

Kiran is a solicitor in the London Employment department.  Kiran’s practice includes all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.

Experience

Kiran regularly advises on discrimination issues, and has a particular interest in disability discrimination and mental health issues at work. She also has an interest in whistleblowing claims, and advises regularly in this regard.

Career


Kiran practised employment law from 2003 at Magrath & Co before joining Russell Jones & Walker in 2006.

Education

Kiran graduated from University of Warwick with an honours degree in Philosophy and Literature in 1999. She then completed her legal studies at Nottingham Law School before commencing her training contract with Denton Wilde Sapte in 2001.

Publications

Kiran has had numerous articles on employment law issues published, and has spoken at seminars on disciplinary and grievance procedures, civil partnership and sexual orientation discrimination. 

Professional Memberships

Kiran is an elected member of the executive committee of the Discrimination Law Association

Interests and hobbies

Kiran’s interests include voluntary work, yoga and keeping fit.

Languages

Kiran speaks Punjabi fluently, and she studied French to A-level standard.
