Expertise
Jon is a solicitor based in the Criminal & Investigations Department at our Cardiff Office. He has been with Russell Jones & Walker since qualifying in Law in 2002 and he undertook his training contract with the Firm. Jon was admitted as a Solicitor in 2004 and then took up his current role at the Cardiff Criminal Department.
Jon undertakes general criminal defence work for both institutional and private clients and also has experience of Inquest and Disciplinary hearings.
Education
Jon graduated with a 2:1 in Politics and Economics, before converting to Law, obtaining a distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Prior to entering the law, Jon has worked in the voluntary sector and in teaching.
Interests and hobbies
In any spare time, Jon enjoys playing his sport of wheelchair rugby, music, film and travel.
