Benjamin Haigh is a Solicitor in the Criminal and Misconduct Department at Russell Jones and Walker's Newcastle upon Tyne office.

Experience

Benjamin qualified as a Solicitor in September 2005 after gaining his LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. Furthermore, Benjamin completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at Northumbria University. Whilst studying for the Legal Practice Course, Benjamin won the Solicitor's Family Law Association Prize, and shortly afterwards won the Newcastle Prize, presented by the Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society.

Benjamin specialises in Criminal Defence work and trained at Beecham Peacock Solicitors in Newcastle upon Tyne and remained at that firm after qualification. Benjamin has a wide experience of all aspects of Criminal Law and is also an accredited Police Station advisor.

Career

Benjamin joined Russell Jones and Walker in August 2007. He is predominantly instructed by the Police Federation to represent Police Officers in Criminal and Disciplinary investigations and proceedings.
