Career

Simon is an Assistant Solicitor in the London Employment Department. Simon's practice includes all aspects of Employment Law, with a particular emphasis on discrimination law. Simon has successfully conducted cases involving sex, race, disability, religion and sexual orientation discrimination including a number of victories in the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He also has experience in civil litigation outside the employment field, including cases in both the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.

Before becoming a solicitor, Simon worked as a full-time employment law caseworker at Chesterfield Law Centre. He then trained as a solicitor at London human rights firm Deighton Guedalla, qualifying in May 2004, where he specialised in employment law and discrimination. He joined Russell Jones & Walker in August 2007.

Education

Simon studied law at the University of Nottingham and completed his professional exams at Nottingham Law School.
