Marc specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He deals with disputes in the High Court and County Courts, arbitrations, mediations and expert determinations.
Experience
Marc has substantial experience acting for individuals, companies and governments in a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes, including:
• Commercial contracts, ranging from debt claims on behalf of individuals and small businesses to advising companies on major contracts and government projects, including in the oil & gas, construction, financial services and IT sectors.
• Civil fraud claims and emergency injunctive relief (freezing orders, search and seizure orders).
• Director disqualification proceedings, boardroom disputes and shareholder rights.
• Professional negligence.
• Insurance disputes.
• Judicial review.
• International law.
Education
Marc obtained undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in law from Oxford University (1994 and 1995). Having qualified as a barrister in 1997, Marc joined Ashurst where he qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and then spent 7 years in Ashurst’s litigation department.
Marc joined RJW in 2007. He is also a non-practising barrister and a former lecturer in law at the University of North London.
