Race discrimination

Today's modern workplace is a reflection of our multi-cultural society. Despite this thousands of people a year are subjected to unfair treatment in the workplace as a result of their race.

Discrimination on grounds of race is rendered unlawful by the Race Relations Act 1976, yet many cases go unreported because people are simply unaware of their legal rights and the protection they are entitled to by law. In some cases victims are too intimidated or embarrassed about what has happened to them to come forward.

At Russell Jones & Walker our specialist team deals with many racial discrimination cases every year. We understand the sensitive and often distressing nature of these cases and work discreetly with you, keeping you fully informed every step of the way.
