The law relating to Defamation, Privacy, Human Rights and the increasing use of electronic communications has changed dramatically in recent years. Our practice has grown to encompass all of these developments. Our experienced team are involved in making the law; many of our cases have made new law and have been reported, we set up and chaired a working party to devise a Defamation Pre-Action Protocol after the changes to the Civil Procedure Rules, we are on the Civil Justice Committee, Department of Constitutional Affairs Panel on Defamation Costs and Law Society’s Defamation Reference Group. We have written a A Practical Guide to Libel and Slander and contribute to Jordan’s Civil Court Service (“the Brown Book”).
