Mobile Doctors take over IMS cases
Published 05/07/2007
Mobile Doctors Limited this week announced they have reached an agreement with administrators to undertake all IMS Litigation Services Ltd and IMS Legal Indemnity Ltd (IMS) cases following IMSâ collapse.
The medical evidence provider has set up a specialist team to take control of potentially thousands of unresolved cases, after claimants, insurers and solicitors across the UK were left in chaos when the IMS was forced into administration last week.
Matthew Game, chief executive at Mobile Doctors said: âWe are focusing on minimising, as far as possible, potential case delays and correcting any problems caused before the IMS went into administration.
âWe are working with all parties to try and rectify the situation but it will require considerable time and effort to bring this database into order and to uncover all the issues that need to be resolved.â
