John has expertise in many different types of claim such as accidents in the workplace, including training cases; accidents on public and private roads; public and private liability claims; lifting and manual handling claims and product liability claims.

He is also Head of RJW Bike, a specialist unit set up in recognition of the specialist requirements of bike accident claims.

Joining Russell Jones & Walker in July 2002, John is responsible for the supervision of a team of executives and also supervises the Manchester Group Action Sofa Litigation.

He qualified in 1991 and has been a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel for many years.

John has extensive expertise in all areas of personal injury work and is accomplished when dealing with claims of both complexity and value. John is one of the few solicitors to have litigated a contested stress claim lasting nine days and succeeded in recovering substantial damages for the claimant.
