Last year Prospect members received nearly £4.5 million in accident compensation through the Union’s personal injury scheme. Most of this went to members injured in accidents at work, but we also recovered compensation for members suffering from stress at work, noise induced deafness, RSI, asbestos related conditions, accidents on the road and hand arm vibration syndrome.

Prospect’s scheme also covers accidents outside the workplace, including car accidents. It even covers injury claims for family members (provided the accident was not at wok).
