Police Federation and Russell Jones & Walker: Proud to Represent Police Professionals

Police Federation's criminal lawyers at Russell Jones & Walker are recognised nationally as the leading firm for representing police officers who face criminal and/or misconduct allegations. We provide advice and representation to police officers from police station interview to criminal prosecution and misconduct proceedings across the whole of England & Wales. In the majority of investigations, after our Criminal team have provided advice to the member, no proceedings are brought against them.

In criminal and misconduct cases difficult decisions have to be made in consultation with the member and friend as to whether or not the member should answer questions when interviewed under caution. The decision whether or not to answer questions in interview, or to put forward a written response, is a difficult one and the member is often under pressure to provide an account.
