Insufficient Working Equipment Leaves Woman with Serious Burns to Body

2 June 2011

A woman was asked by her employers to fill a bucket of hot water.  She filled half the bucket with water and switched the tap off.  As she went to lift the bucket it slipped out of her hands as there was no handle on it.  The bucket landed on the floor and spilt the boiling hot water all over our client’s feet.  The accident at work was caused due to insufficient materials being supplied to the woman so an accident claim was made.

RJW’s expert accident at work solicitors negotiated a settlement of £4,250 in compensation for our client.
