Sport accident client receives £1500 in compensation

Russell Jones & Walker acted on behalf of a client who was injured in a well known gym, through kicking a punch bag as part of his exercise regime. The punch bag had not been rolled regularly, as is required, to ensure an even distribution of the filling. As he kicked it, he struck a hard patch, causing him to sustain injury.

A claim was initiated for the sport accident where medical evidence was obtained and disclosed. An offer was made in respect of the client's foot injury, which, after a little negotiation, was accepted with liability admitted in this claim.
