We acted for an individual who managed projects for a building company. He inherited a badly negotiated budget, a difficult client and an inefficient team. He was made the scapegoat for failings which were outside his control and criticised for his dealings with a client with whom his superiors had also lost patience.

We advised a female Director of a worldwide travel business who was unhappy with the outcome of her grievance appeal. Following the outcome of the grievance procedure the employer made false allegations against our client which lead to a disciplinary investigation and the termination of her employment.

He experienced discrimination and harassment from colleagues and management when he became more obviously observant of his faith in the workplace, including by changes to his dress, growing a beard, praying 5 times a day and mentioning that he was going on pilgrimage to Mecca.
