Former employer not able to enforce Restrictive Covenants against our client

We acted for a senior individual employed by a global telecommunications business in moving to another global communications business operating in a similar but not identical business space. We argued successfully on behalf of our client that the two areas of business operation were sufficiently different to mean that the former employer was not able to enforce restrictive covenants against the client. As a result, our client was free to start his new job with immediate effect.
