We acted for an individual who suffered from serious depression and was therefore unable to carry out his senior position at his employer. He started receiving benefits under a permanent health insurance policy offered by his employer.

Breach of contract claim following termination of employment

We advised a female senior executive whose employment was terminated. Along with a number of other claims, she had a claim for breach of contract. This was in respect to her employer failing to first, provide a payment in lieu of notice for the 8 month notice period due under her contract of employment and second, breaching her contractual right to an enhanced redundancy package.
