Clinical Negligence Solicitors, Russell Jones and Walker, acted on behalf of a lady who underwent a 'Cleavage Sparing Mastectomy' by surgeon Mr Ian Paterson in Birmingham a number of years ago. The surgery is usually carried out to strict NHS guidelines. However, in our client's case, the surgeon left behind excess tissue within the breast. Fortunately for our client she read an article about the issue in the local press and was able to have surgery to remove the excess breast tissue.

An elderly man was admitted to hospital after a fall at home. He suffered a stroke shortly after his admission which left his entire right side paralysed. His family were concerned that despite the man being at a high risk of developing pressure ulcers, he was not provided with a pressure relieving mattress.
