Nerve Injury Claim Resolved by RJW's Expert Solicitors

10 February 2011

A nerve injury claim was brought forward by our client, a young lady who had a benign lump removed on her neck by her Hospital. The lump was in fact concealed by her hair and posed no threat to our client’s health, which meant that there was no need for the treatment. Whilst the operation was being conducted, the surgeon negligently damaged a nerve in her neck which in turn caused her to suffer unnecessary pain.

Sadly our client was unable to move her arms above shoulder height due to the pain she encountered. Her day to day activities were severely restricted and it was difficult for her to care for her three small children. Taking all this into account our expert nerve injury solicitors settled this case allowing our client to receive damages worth £75,000.
