Clinical Negligence Solicitors, Russell Jones and Walker, acted on behalf of a lady who underwent a 'Cleavage Sparing Mastectomy' by surgeon Mr Ian Paterson in Birmingham a number of years ago. The surgery is usually carried out to strict NHS guidelines. However, in our client's case, the surgeon left behind excess tissue within the breast. Fortunately for our client she read an article about the issue in the local press and was able to have surgery to remove the excess breast tissue.

Bowel Surgery Results in Peroneal Nerve Damage

Our client underwent bowel surgery in late 2008. Following the surgery, it became apparent that damage had been done to the peroneal nerve which resulted in foot drop. Luckily our client has recently started to show signs of recovery, and medical evidence suggests that she will make a 90% recovery.
