£15,000 Compensation for Misdiagnosis of Bowel Cancer
13 September 2010
Our client underwent a routine examination in December 2008. Shortly afterwards, he received a letter saying that he had bowel cancer. Our client felt devastated and thought that there was a significant possibility he would die.
The day before radiotherapy was due to commence, our client was informed that there was a mix up with his records and it was a case of mistaken identity. Our client was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress disorder as a result.
With help from our expert clinical negligence solicitors our client was awarded damages of £15,000.
