Clinical Negligence Solicitors, Russell Jones and Walker, acted on behalf of a lady who underwent a 'Cleavage Sparing Mastectomy' by surgeon Mr Ian Paterson in Birmingham a number of years ago. The surgery is usually carried out to strict NHS guidelines. However, in our client's case, the surgeon left behind excess tissue within the breast. Fortunately for our client she read an article about the issue in the local press and was able to have surgery to remove the excess breast tissue.

Our client was a widow whose husband died due to the medical negligence he received from his doctors who failed to detect his liver cancer. Her husband was referred to the NHS Trust for tests. Although doctors noticed an abnormality on his blood results, they failed to recommend a liver biopsy. As a result, he was wrongly informed he did not have cancer.
