The UK Bribery Act cames into effect in July 2011 and presents a host of new risks to businesses, particularly in the area of corporate hospitality.

Ahead of the Act implementation in July 2011 we at Russell Jones & Walker received many enquiries from individuals and businesses about their obligations under the Act once it's implemented.

During an eight week period from Mid-November 2010 we conducted a detailed 30 question survey. Most of the responses were drawn from three main sectors: financial services; property and construction; and media and advertising.
