Maclaren pays out to injured children

Although Maclaren has not admitted liability they have agreed to pay compensation to the injured children, depending on the severity of their injuries.  The money will be invested until the children are 18.

Our approach to faulty buggy claims

We are already leading the Maclaren buggy group litigation order, where children have been hurt by their Maclaren buggies and we are urging Trading Standards to issue a product recall to stop any further injuries.

In America, in 2009, Maclaren have issued a full scale product recall and offered parents free hinge covers to stop any further injuries to children.  However, in the UK they are still claiming that the product adheres to European safety regulations and there is no need to issue a product recall.  We urge all parents to request a hinge cover via the Maclaren website, to prevent injury to their children.
