Food poisoning outbreak at a Dominican Republic holiday resort

A food poisoning outbreak occurred at a holiday resort within the Dominican Republic. The hotel where the affected guests resided wasidentified as the Sirenis Hotel. Many holidaymakers were diagnosed with the symptoms of food poisoning: vomiting, diarrhoea and dehydration. Some victims of the food poisoning had to be hospitalised. .

Client hospitalised after severe food poisoning

In a recent case we acted for a number of victims who contracted salmonella after eating at an East London restaurant. More than 160 people were poisoned and one of our clients was hospitalized for nearly a month. Unfortunately, he has neurological problems as a result of the severe dehydration he suffered.
