Action Mesothelioma Day 2010
Action Mesothelioma Day: Friday 2nd July
Action Mesothelioma Day is an annual event arranged by the British Lung Foundation (BLF) as part of their ongoing campaign to raise awareness of Mesothelioma and to improve the treatment and care of people diagnosed with this asbestos related disease.
In 2010 the focus of the campaign is raising awareness of asbestos in homes, and the issues, dangers and responsibilities people have if they uncover asbestos whilst carrying out DIY themselves, or through hired contractors. As the BLF says ‘asbestos is not a thing of the past and is still present in many homes today’.
Where and when is Action Mesothelioma Day?
