Employers fail to provide proper equipment resulting in night porter injury

Working as a night porter on the day of the accident, our client was required to set up a conference room. In order to do this he needed to move furniture from the store room. Furniture had been placed in the store room by members of staff during the day some of which had not been safely stacked or secured. On entering the room a piece of furniture fell onto our client and landed on his left toe – permanently deforming the nail.
