RJW represented a cyclist who was on her way home when she hit a pothole with her front tyre, causing her to crash into a metal barrier at the side of the road. The cycling accident caused damage to her bike and bruising to the left upper arm and left thigh as well as a break to her right thumb. At the time of the accident she did not seek medical assistance but instead visited her GP at a later date who subsequently sent her to St George's Hospital due to the pain she was suffering with her cycling injuries.

Sport accident client receives £1500 in compensation

Russell Jones & Walker acted on behalf of a client who was injured in a well known gym, through kicking a punch bag as part of his exercise regime. The punch bag had not been rolled regularly, as is required, to ensure an even distribution of the filling. As he kicked it, he struck a hard patch, causing him to sustain injury.

Slip in Asda Store Results in Injury to Man

Whilst a man was shopping in his local Asda store he slipped on a spillage on the floor and fell, injuring himself. The spillage had been unmarked and the store admitted full liability for this accident in a public place.
