Jeremy Summers appointed as The Independent Judicial Officer for rugby disciplinary hearing

Jeremy Summers has been appointed The independent Judicial Officer to hear both complaints, and the hearing will take place in Dublin on Thursday 22nd December 2011.

Gough is alleged to have carried out a dangerous tackle on the Saracens hooker, Schalk Brits (No 2), during the second half of the match at the Liberty Stadium. The complaint was made by Citing Commissioner, Peter Brown (Scotland). While the red card was issued to Minto in the 24th minute of the first half by referee, for striking the Biarritz Olympique scrum half, Yann Lesgourgues (No 9), with the head in contravention of Law.
