Bus company set to be sued for broken bones

3 February 2012

Several broken bones suffered during a road traffic accident have resulted in a man pursuing a personal injury compensation claim.

Allister Reid is taking legal action against Key Coaches after he was hit by one of the company's vehicles last month and left with a badly broken arm, as well as injuries to his leg and a fractured skull, the Paisley Daily Express reports.

The 33-year-old needed emergency treatment immediately after the incident in Johnstone's Thorn Brae and ended up with numerous plates, pins and stitches in his arm.

Mr Reid told the news source he was crossing the road at the time of the accident and was left trapped under the wheels of the coach.

"This has really affected my everyday life and I'm in a lot of pain," he added.

Recently, the Shields Gazette reported that Harry Harman is taking legal action because his wife will need care for life after a road traffic accident last year.
