We are increasingly instructed on discrimination issues by accountants, perhaps unsurprising given the fact that women account for only a third of the profession, and only 4% of accountancy partners are from ethnic minority backgrounds. We have successfully run cases across a range of issues, including equal pay, bonus disputes, race issues and the lack of women at director level, as well as maternity and return-to-work difficulties.
